Julius Caesar was one of history's greatest military genuises. He won his battles through a principle he called celeritas - speed. Caesar always managed to catch his enemy off guard, arriving on the battlefield days or weeks before he was expected, even if doing so required a forced march through the snow. When a Gaulish tribe called the Bituriges rebelled against Rome, Caesar descended on them so quickly that he caught the rebellious Gauls tilling their fields without the least fear.

Assign full-time/totally obsessed souls to each project. They live/eat/breathe/sleep/love this project. They are married to this project - for better or worse. Hone the project list until you have virtually everyone in your firm married to a/one major project. Period. Work this through with your Clients. Painstakingly. Make it clear that you'll produce guaranteed lousy results if you're spread too thin... no matter how "pressing" projects 2, 3, and 4 on the priority list are.
